Mid-Antrim Animal Sanctuary is a non-profit, independent registered charity, which receives no financial support from the government or any other charity body relying entirely upon the kindness & generosity of the people of Northern Ireland.

The NCDL is the UK's largest dog welfare charity who are working towards the day when all dogs can enjoy a happy life, free from the threat of unnecessary destruction. Their nationwide network of Rehoming Centres care for over 11,000 dogs each year. In addition to rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming dogs in need, they also aim to educate and advise dog owners/ lovers about the importance of initiatives such as training, neutering and microchipping.

Since 1934 the Brooke Hospital has existed to improve conditions for working equines mainly in Egypt, India, Jordan & Pakistan.
